Introduction:
I have spoken about the Canon EOS 6 D Full Frame camera in the past. I understand that the body and kit lens will be released on 3 Dec 2012. I emailed Canon Canada to ask if it has an AF Micro Adjustment. Their answer was "they didn't know". Listed below is a copy of the Specification from a Japanese site. It shows that it does indeed have a AF Micro Adjustment. Just to be sure, check out the camera before buying. It is my understanding that some new camera releases, like one of the Nikon's that looked great, IMHO, didn't have this must have feature?

Summary:
This camera appears to have or contain the key elements that a wedding photographer or most photographers would need to take outstanding pictures. It is lighter than the Mark III, costs a lot less, but still takes those great pictures. I believe that this camera will replace the Canon 5D Mark II with its improved focusing and on chip noise reduction. It is suppose to give one stop better low light performance than the Mark III. If Landscape photography is your area, then the Nikon D800 with its 36 MP and high dynamic range might be a better choice. Again, after applying DXO to your images, you just might NOT to be able to tell the difference. Remember, the rule of squares, the 16 MP's more amount to 40% more resolution. One click of a button in PS will also give you that higher resolution, albeit interpolated but impossible to see. Interpolation is only bad when you go from 3 MPs to 30 MPs, not when you go from 20 to 36 MPs. DXO should give you that "lost" dynamic range. See the new DXO Smart Lighting, it is indeed very impressive. Is that not what DR is all about? Getting information from the dark/bright areas of your photos.
The sensor testing specifications are not yet ready and I will post when they are. For now it is best to assume that they are equivalent to the Canon 5D Mark III and possibly a bit better as fewer pixels generally mean less noise. It would not surprise me if they used the same sensor and focused less light on the sensor. Generally there is a number of photo sites that are there and not being used on every camera. Programs exist to recover this small bit of information.
If you are a video shooter, take a close look at the sound features. You may want a different camera.
This camera will take pictures as good as the 5D Mark III and possibly a bit better in low light.
Masters-Tip: Buy only the features that you need. Highly Recommended
